Not So Good & Good

Well, what can I say?

Life is always changing.

Some good and some not so good.

*Not so good.

New health issues for Momm Shirl. Congestive heart failure, 6 months to live or very invasive quadruple bypass surgery. That is only if the Doctors qualifies her for the surgery.
Her body is shutting down and she is living her last days on earth. With her will she could live longer I'm sure. None the less she is a great woman and will be in heaven soon!

*Not so good.

Grandma is gaining so much weight that her caregiver had to cut the pockets out of her new size 12 pants I got her and sew in plackets so they fit. The caregiver actually puts mom's left over scrambled eggs into the blender drink that also has insure plus. Breakfeast=2000 cal.

*Not so good.

All my Zenias are dying for NO reason to be found.

*Not so good.

Today I ate El Pollo Loco, Baskin Robins, Sees Candy, and 6 grape juice bars.

I know why I have a big butt, gut, and boobs!

*Not so good.

I have piano lessons and once again I have NOT practiced.

*Not so good.

Dad has not done laundry for over a week. Pathetic piles.

*Not so good.

Sounds like Carly is in for the final round of the custody battle. So sad to see a child be hurt by adults who care more about themselves than the child. I hope Alyson comes out of the battle without scars. Perhaps she'll be stronger and rise above it all.

*Good. Lindy is gonna have a baby Tuesday, June 15th.

*Good. Grand daughters have their dance recital Saturday.

*Good. The weather is just gorgeous.

*Good. Alyson gets to spend time here!

*Good. Petunias are thriving.

*Good. Organized T.V. room, office, and craft room.

*Good. Took the Navigator chock FULL to Goodwill.

*Good. Bought 6 boxes and 4 bags of Popsicles.

*Good. I have wonderful health.

*Good. I have mental well being.

Well, what can I say?

Life is always changing.

Some good and some not so good.

I know there is a lot more good in life if we just look for it.

Count your blessings name them one by one.

Count your blessings see what God has done.

My Little Pony

Grandpa...

Look at what Jillian gave me.
My pony's name is "Cheerilee".

I loooovvveee my special pony.
(Lyric has many special keepsakes that she absolutely loves!)

The only problem is if she loses one of them when she is out and about.
Well, pony disappeared when Paxton disappeared at the ultra sound of baby sister Kylee.
We found Paxton when he went missing but the trauma of pony missing was very distressing.
We were already in the ultra sound room when the news broke.
"Grandma, sniff, sniff, sniff."
Lyric crying big crocodile tears.
"Lyric, did you misplace your pony?"
"YESSSSSSS, sniff, sniff, sniff."
Oh my heck I knew we were in trouble. The ultra sound was already in process.
I held her and PROMISED we would find her pony.
I bribed her with what else?
Gum of course.
Pink bubble gum.
In the mean time she was consoled.
Grandpa had to take Paxton out since he was getting restless.
In seconds Paxton opened up the door of the ultra sound room and with great jubilance announced,
"Lyric here is your pony."
Hallelujah he saved the day!
It was a very good day too.
Only one flaw.
Ultra sound tech had NO personality and acted like the job she was doing was more like a "Secret Service Agent"!
She either was a new tech and couldn't talk or answer questions during the ultra sound or she just flat out was a dead pan!
No info to be retrieved per se.
Oh well, you can't please a 38 week pregnant woman unless you told her the babies head is out!

D-Day NOT!

"Packy, what is on your shirt?" in his very deep voice replies
"Doe-gie" with great delight. (everything he says or does is with great delight!)

Very curious child. He disappeared when we took our eyes off him for 2 seconds. Lindy was in another room preparing for her ultra sound. Packy was having a fun time with sister Lyric, Grandpa and grandma. One second he was there and the next he is totally gone. Panic!!! WE scoured every outlet, inlet, cove, stairs, elevator, asking everyone if they had seen a little red head boy. I really thought the worst. He was stolen. Actually he went around the corner and was with his mom!!! Thank goodness he was safe and we were so relieved to not have been found guilty of neglect for our own grand son!

Oh yes, he looks so innocent.
Looks are deceiving.
His grandpa actually promotes his wild behavior. You would think they were both 2 years old!

Ha, fooled you all!

"I know I am soooo cute. My good looks get me out of a lot of trouble. All I have to do is show my dimples and I can melt a heart!"

Off We Go!

Dressed in their Easter Clothes they are off to get their "professional" pictures taken.

Can't wait to see the final results.

White Teeth

Grand kids bushing their teeth before the photo shoot. Lined up in my bathroom they have new tooth brushes to do the task.

I do not know where Peyton is. She is probably running around somewhere enjoying life. She might even be in the car waiting on everyone.

Jordyn & Alyson

Not a picture I took. I noticed some goofy pictures on my camera. I must have set it down for one sec.

Lyric and Jordyn. Love Lyric's funny face.

Alyson getting her hair straightened by Jamie. She has beautiful curly hair but loves it to be straight.

Lyric getting her hair curled.

Lexi was hiding somewhere.

Peyton was running somewhere.

Paxton is a boy and doesn't need all the fru fru. (sp?)

Sleep Over

Alyson and Jordyn were privileged to have a special sleep over at grandpa and grandma's house. They really enjoyed their time to play and have fun while the rest of us were sleeping our normal hours. That's what you get when your cousin visits from out of town.

Loot

Chuck E Cheese is the place all the grand kids LOVE to go anytime, any day, anyway, anyhow, and especially to celebrate birthdays. For Jordyn's 8Th birthday we loaded up her sister and cousins (Peyton sorry you missed) and headed off for "the place".`
The kids pooled all the tickets they won from the games to the tune of about 620 tickets! They got to choose the "junk" stuff from behind the infamous counter to die for. They were very proud of their loot.

Happy Easter Mess

New iron #3 attempt, not my type yet. Is this going to be like a vacuum cleaner? I will just keep buying them and trying them until (if) I get it straight!
Grandma Worley's 1950's singer sewing machine.

I have to get up tomorrow and reorganize my "stuff" again.
Why do I have to make such a big mess when I sew?

The second session of today's General Conference was the very best. I loved all the talks and the one on Motherhood made me cry! Wow, what a powerful message and a huge responsibility we have as mothers.
